Welcome!
Welcome to my Bat WebQuest site! This short term WebQuest is designed for elementary school-aged students in grades 3 and 4 and has been developed as part of my coursework for my Masters of Education in Educational Technology through the University of Alaska, Southeast.
While this project was a course requirement, the topic is of my own choosing. I believe strongly in the benefits of learning more about bats with my goals being to dispel the myths as well share the important role these wonderful winged creatures play in maintaining the balance of many ecosystems around the world.
The WebQuest design used is based on the WebQuest format originally designed by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University. More information about WebQuests can be found at the University of San Diego WebQuest Page.
