" She's Leaving You"
You treated her bad for a long long time
The way you acted yeah, it was a crime
That isn't how love's supposed to be
Loves supposed to make a person feel fine
So now she's leaving you and she's gonna be mine
Always hanging with your friends
You're the kinda person that needs a crowd
To comfort you and reassure you
and it's no wonder that you act so proud
Telling people about your sports car
looking down your nose at guys like me
You never cared about that girl at all
never even noticed if she was ever happy
Critics call you spectacular
A genius in the eyes of the world
They're afraid to admit that you're mediocre
or see the lives that you have ruined
Like a guitar permanently untuned
is the ugly noise you make
She's learned her lesson well. dear boy
and won't make that mistake again when
You treated her bad for a long long time
The way you acted yeah, it was a crime
That isn't how love's supposed to be
Loves supposed to make a person feel fine
So now she's leaving you and she's gonna be mine
You come from the finest family
and succeed, well, isn't that a surprise?
Pretending to be ultimately cool
But there's a bounder behind your eyes
Leaping to reach for the main chance
stepping everyday on people's heads
You can run but you can't dance
You're familiar with many strangers beds
People see you from afar
and they wonder who you are
See your picture on the wall
Think that you're too big to fall
She's finally had enough of you
Go find some other free publicity
You can't believe her when she says you're through
It's never happened to you before
Nothing is ever absolutely sure
I don't feel very sorry for you
Because you never really cared for her
and incidentally I do, always, hey
You treated her bad for a long long time
The way you acted yeah, it was a crime
That isn't how love's supposed to be
Loves supposed to make a person feel fine
So now she's leaving you and she's gonna be mine
I don't care who you may be
It doesn't mean that much to me
The stupid things that you did do
All are coming home to you
