The Japanese wordghanahmeansgflowerhorgblossomh
Whileghanah is a general expression for flower plants in nature, ghanah refers an aesthetic ideal and an attitude towards earthly things in traditional Japanese culture. Though I grew up in westernize society, understandghanahfor myself. That is to say, all things must die and nothing remains unchanged. I know everything on the earth is fragile, including myself.

It may be sorrow, but give me a kind of deep feeling over things.
They have also a hint of sadness, and at the same time, it could be called even joy. It seemed to me that the feeling suggested an affinity of beauty and sadness. I want to represent not only visual beauty but also something invisible, the ambiance of grace, mystery, sorrow, transience, ambiguity and ineffable quality, if possible. My concept ghanah implies all, but it could only be suggested in the picture. An empty space and simple flowers plays important role for symbolic representation. I think simplicity is most essential. And so black and white photography is especially appropriate for my concept.
