| | 01. I took a 14.1" display as an example for my instructions. | |
| | | 02. Remove the screw covers like this (use a glue stick to put them back on). | |
| | | 03. Pull the "rubber bumpers" out by moving them to and fro. | |

| | 04. Now you can access all 6 screws. 3-6 are small and silver. | |
| | | 05. Push the clutch back and push your fingers into the slit. | |
| | | 06. Work your way around and then remove the tape. | |

| | 07. Now remove both cables that lead into the inverter board. | |
| | | 08. Pick up the data cable like this and pull it downward. | |
| | | 09. Now remove all 4 screws on the right ... | |
|
| | 10. ... and remove the whole cable/hinge lot. | |
| | | 11. Seperate them very, very carefully, then unwind the cable. | |
| | | 12. Now remove the 4 screws on the left ... | |
|
| | 13. ... and lift the LCD straight up. | |
| | | 14. CAUTION! The cable is glued to the case. Pull it gently away. | |
| | | 15. Now take extra caution when pulling the microphone plug. | |
|
| | 16. Finally, seperate the cable from the hinge. | |
