About

YAMAHA TQ5 is a 4-Operator FM synthesizer with a reverb and a built-in sequencer. The synthesis engine is based on YAMAHA TX81Z. YS200 / YS100 are the keyboard version.

TQ5 Overview

4-Operator FM synth with 8 basic waveforms - OPZ engine (YM2414).
"" Pitch envelope added to TX81Z.
"" A small FX unit like TG33's is added - short reverb, short delay, digital distortion.
I found portamento is omitted in TQ5. I'm not sure about YS200.
Quick Edit is available, but to edit further, you have to use a PC editor.

This is the TQ5 adaptation (editor) I made for Emagic SoundDiver. It's not complete - some parameters are omitted. It may work with YS200 and others as well. If you own SoundDiver, ownload the adaptation here.
