YAMAHA TG33
New Editors for SoundDiver
TG33vect editor
This is a new TG33 editor for
Emagic SoundDiver.
You need Emagic SoundDiver to use this editor.
SoundDiver comes with a TG33 editor, but it does not support vectors and has some problems in transmitting the data. My new editor is made to ameliorate this and can fully edit the hidden parameters.
Download TG33vect adaptation: tg33.sit (16KB).
See the readme file for details.

About this adaptation
I made this adaptation with TG33, SoundDiver 3 and Mac OS 9.1,
but it will work with other versions and platforms.
Load the initialized data (tg33init.lib) into the editor, and start editing from here.
Put the cursor on the parameter, and the parameter name is displayed.
Editing hidden parameters takes a longer time, compared to the official parameters.
Sometimes the displayed parameters become inconsistent with TG33's actual memory contents,
especially when a FM preset wave is newly selected.
Use SoundDiver's Request function to reload TG's Edit Buffer.
Parameters:
All Output and Envelope Levels are inversely represented:
0 is max and 127 is minimum.
"dt": Detune1 = normal detune, Detune2 = pitch scaling.
"max": Maximum Envelope Point; TG33 stops making sounds when the max parameter contradicts the actual envelope.
"alg": 0 = serial, and 1 = parallel (two Carriers).
"cw, mw": Waveforms for Carrier and Modulator.
"cf, mf": Frequency Ratio for Carrier and Modulator.
LFO: "P" and "A" buttons enables/disables Pitch/Amp LFO for Carrier/Modulator.
Vector section: Click the black box to set the Vector step to "Repeat" or "End."
Vector curve could be drawn by dragging mouse, but SoundDiver has problems in this drag feature.
TG33v2 editor
This is a new version of the TG33 editor that shows essential parameters while still retaining control of the hidden parameters. I made this to edit the voices faster and easier.
Download TG33v2 adaptation: tg33v2.sit (16KB).
See the readme file for details.

About this adaptation
Load the initialized data (inittg33v2.lib) into the editor, and start editing from here.
FM preset waveform parameter is omitted, as the deeper FM parameters are editable.
Output / Envelope Levels are shown normally; 127 = max and 0 = minimum.
Vectors are limited to 4 steps, but can be edited graphically.
If you find any problems, or if you find something with it, please let me know.
