Performance Editor
for SoundDiver
Performance Editor
Using Multi Mode, TG100 can layer up to 16 Voices.
To make it intuitive to layer sounds, I made a 'Performance Editor' for TG100/CBX-T3 with SoundDiver.
It can layer 2 Voices, and store the setting as patches and libraries.

How to use
Put the .ADA file into the Diver folder.
Load initg100.LIB into the adaptation and start editing from there.
This adaptation was made with SD 3.0.5 on Mac, but may work on other platforms.
The window is small so as to fit in my VGA display.
This adaptation uses TG's Part 1 and 2, and the Internal Voice 0 and 1 to layer the sounds.
64 Performances can be stored in SD's Virtual Bank, but it is not related to TG's internal memory.
Voice Common Parameters are at the top of the edit screen.
You can name the patch, though the name exists only in SD's Bank.
Next, there are Parameters for each Voice.
Put the cursor on the controller, and the parameter name is displayed.
Some not-so-relevant parameters are placed at the right end, and some parameters are fixed.
I named the waveforms based on my impression, as I don't know the official names.
(There's YAMAHA's own editor for Mac
- see Yamahasynth.com -
and it may show the real names, but I haven't seen them as it crashes my Mac OS 9.1.)
Portamento on/off can be memorized as a parameter.
Currently, it works relatively slow, as MIDI parameter change is not yet supported.
If you find any problems, or if you find new sounds or something of interest, please let me know.
