YAMAHA SU700 sampling unit is a loop sampler / sequencer with pads and a ribbon controller.

Overview

64-polyphonic, 16/8-bit, 44.1kHz sampler with 4MB RAM (expandable to 68MB).
The ribbon controller can be used to modulate the pitch and the filter.
3 multi-FX and EQ.
SCSI interface (option).

The source sound is played by
Roland D-110 and processed by SU700. No other equipments are used. I often used Amp Simulator, Canyon Reverb and Lo-Fi effects in these examples.

YAMAHA SU10 is the first model of the Sampling Unit series, made as a compliment to CS1x keyboard. SU200 is the updated version with Smart Media. All SU series have a ribbon controller.
SU700 inherits the FX section of A3000 rack sampler. (See A4000 page written by Don Solaris for the sounds of the upper version.)
