As RY30 was made as a rhythm synthesizer, it lacks several normal synthetic functions: Cutoff Key-Follow, Envelope Attack Rate, LFO, etc.
If there were more looped synthetic waveforms and a nonlinear function like Ring Modulator, it could have been a powerful synthesizer like KAWAI XD-5.
