YAMAHA V50 is a FM-Synth Workstation. It has a built-in PCM drum machine. While the sound is uneditable, the samples themselves seem to be inherited from RX8.

After RX8, YAMAHA started a new RY Series. The first model was RY30, which uses AWM2 engine of TG55 - 16-bit PCM with multimode filter.

There are not many filter-less 16-bit PCM machines in the 80s like RX8. AKAI XR10 belongs to this category.
