Digital Wave, Analog Filter
As SCI engineers were inspired by KORG DW series, digital-wave-analog-filter synthesizers at that time are related. KORG DW-8000, KAWAI K3, ENSONIQ ESQ-1 / SQ-80 are among them. K3 may be most related because of its user-waveform function.

Later, Vector synthesis was reincarnated in the digital realm in KORG WAVESTATION and YAMAHA SY22 / TG33. Recently some software / DSP emulations came out like Creamware Vectron.

Dave Smith Instruments Poly Evolver can be seen as the successor of Prophet VS. It has all the VS waveforms. Analog oscillators and deeper modulation capabilities are added, instead of the Vector.
