E-MU PRO/CUSSION
PCM Drum synthesizer

About

E-MU PRO/CUSSION is a drum synthesizer based on Proteus I series.

E-MU PRO/CUSSION (1991)

Overview

32-polyphonic, 16-bit PCM playback engine.
Various drums/percussion sounds and additive waveforms in 4MB ROM.
A drum sound is made of up to 4 layers of samples.
Each layer has its own pitch envelope and amp envelope (Attack-Hold-Decay).
Each layer has the Tone parameter. It works as a slight LPF.
1 LFO for a sound - pitch or volume can be modulated.
4 modulation matrix - velocity, controllers and random source can modulate volume, pitch, envelope, tone, etc.
Up to 24 sounds can be split and layered within a channel.
