POLY-800 Series
There are 4 versions of POLY-800 Series.
POLY-800
POLY-800 with reverse keys
EX-800 The rackmountable tabletop module
POLY-800II digital modulation delay replaced the analog chorus
Only EX-800 and POLY-800II have MIDI SysEx.
As they only communicate the whole 64 patch data at once,
making PC editor is almost impossible.
POLY-800II's digital modulation delay was succeeded by later KORG synths like DW-8000 etc.

KORG DELTA
KORG DELTA belongs to the "String Synthesizer" category.
A string synthesizer has only 1 filter, and processes all the sounds at once with it.
Delta's oscillator is made of 4-Octave square waves.
Because of the single-filter architecture and the additive square oscillator,
POLY-800 can be seen as the digital version of Delta.
See KORG DELTA page for its .mp3s composed by my friend Don Solaris. Its multimode filter sounds very deep and dynamic.

KORG DELTA (1982)
POLY-61
KORG POLY-61 seems to be made as the DCO version of the classic, KORG Polysix.
It's the first synth that adopted what KORG calls "Digital Access Control" user interface
that is also used in POLY-800.

SIEL Synths
SIEL DK70 / DK80 / Expander 80 have the architecture very close to POLY-800.
They can be seen as the advanced versions of POLY-800
with MIDI CC controls for all parameters and added LFO.
SUZUKI released DK80's compatible model, SX-500.
