KORG POLY-800
Overview

DCO

POLY-800 has 8 DCOs. 2 DCOs can be layered, and this reduces the polyphony to 4.
A DCO consists of 4 square waves at 16'/8'/4'/2' feet. By switching these 4 waves, various pulse/saw waves can be made. It's like a 4-bit additive synthesizer.
There is one noise generator as well.

Filter

POLY-800 has only one filter that affects all the voices at once. It seems to be 4-pole, and it does self-oscillate.

Envelopes, etc.

There are 3 multi-step (ADBSSR) envelopes: EG1 for OSC1's amplitude, EG2 for OSC2's, and EG3 for VCF and Noise.
The LFO affects the pitch and the filter.
There is one effect: quasi-stereo analog chorus.
There are one built-in sequencer and MIDI as well, but no velocity.
