CASIO CZ series' synthesis engine is called PD - Phase Distortion.
It is fully digital, but its sounds are verstile enough to cover both digital and analog realm with a unique character.
CZ-1 (1986)
Using SysEx with my CZ-1, I have explored several features hitherto unknown. Such as;
new waveforms; new modulation modes;
window function - additional ring modulation, etc.
I will report these features with some sound examples and a SoundDiver adaptation to utilize these new features.
Samples are recorded without external effects.
Please share any information about CZ and your own experimentation.

He created a great collection of CZ sounds in his site: "CASIO CZ User Page", and there I found sounds I thought I could never imitate.
My SoundDiver couldn't fully recognize the data he created, so I started investigating if there are any unofficial SysEx codes....
