New vulnerability database
The Open
Source Vulnerability Database is a new resource for security
professionals. Despite its name it is focussed on providing information on all
systems, open source or otherwise. The Open Source part of the name comes from
the creators ethos of providing freely available information to all -
individuals or commercial bodies.
It only became publicly available at the end of March but it has been worked on for around 2 years. If you involved in any aspect of IT security you should add it to your arsenal.
