“I believe that taking care of yourself comes first, because this lets you be more effective in every area of life.” Sylvia Glad says.
She knows how strong the pressures of daily life can be, from work, family, and the many responsibilities we take on. She remembers her own time in corporate life, when she did not take care of herself—how much difficulty that caused, and how much work it took to re-establish that balance.
With firsthand experience as her guide, Sylvia’s commitment to clients is to make sure she guides them to a better quality of life. She understands their needs and wants for Therapeutic Massage, Aromatherapy and Wellness.
“I know how fundamentally necessary it is to replenish yourself. And I pay attention to what is most important in the moment for immediate relief of tension.”
Her work draws upon her training certifications and ongoing studies in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage techniques, Lomilomi, and the healing touch of Aromatherapy and Reiki. Her massage certification was achieved at the Touch Therapy Institute, (now known as National Holistic Institute) where she continues with yearly advanced studies. She has also studied and been attuned to the second degree of Reiki. She established her own private practice in 2003.
Her affiliations include: Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, Soka Gakkai International and Worthwhile Referral Sources. |
