Mini-grants are awarded annually not to exceed $1,000 designed to support teacher use of technology in the classroom.
The major function of SVCUE is an annual late winter conference focusing on the K-16 educational community, educators in non-traditional fields such as business and industry, local community agencies and individuals interested in supporting children's use of technology as a learning tool.
As a member of SVCUE you are already a member of CUE. Check out the member benefits that you are entitled to with your CUE/SVCUE membership. www.cue.org/mycue
SVCUE maintains a web-based directory for on-line tutorials and member individuals who volunteer their time and expertise to mentor other members who have questions or concerns in regards to applications and curriculums supported with technology.
Opportunities for networking are provided before and after affiliate meetings, at conferences, through e-mail and other electronic media. SVCUE is anticipating the initiation of on-line synchronous discussion forums soon.
Three electronic newsletters are provided annually with monthly update fliers. If members do not wish to receive eletronic mail, they may request hard copies of newsletters and fliers through the postal service.
A web site is maintained to provide members and the community-at-large with pertinent information about the organization, its activities, benefits, forms, resources, and support links.
