all those classes. all that homework. and it all comes down to today, graduation. there were lots of speeches, some advice to the newly graduated, and lots of hugs, and excitement.

and yet i get the impression that it's just a brief milestone, as katie is just happy to be done with that. as all of her focus for the last few months is getting ready to move on to college. she's very much looking forward to that. but still, we enjoy the victories. so we took her to her favorite restaurant for dinner. and then later she went to a school sponsored grad night in santa maria. don't worry, she had fun.

then on saturday, we had a graduation party for her at her mom's place. mostly family, but a few local and long time friends came to visit. i just gave her lots of hugs. i've posted a few snapshots on my flickr account, and a little movie on my mobile me account. so go check them out and enjoy.
