kailea's wonder years



when exactly are the wonder years?

lets see, kailea walked when she turned one. she talked (i mean real talk, not baby talk) when she turned two. she was potty trained at three and this year she's turning four...would she read? she loves reading. she understands that a letter makes a word, a word makes a sentence and sentences makes stories. she knows the letters of the alphabet and their sounds. would she write? she can write her name, the alphabet and she draws very good for a 3 3/4 year old. oh, i can't wait to discover what wonderful, amazing thing she'll do at four. i'll have to wait and watch closely. i don't want to miss a thing.

i guess the answer really is, all the years of your life. all wonders, just different magnitudes.
