sleepover at lolo and lola's house



before last weekend, the only time kailea spent the night without both brent and i was four years ago, on our wedding night. it wasn't a big deal then, as she was only three months old. and after this weekend, i figured it wasn't a big deal, at least for her. we came to pick her up on sunday morning, 'were you sad, did you miss me?' i asked. she shook her head. i gave a fret and a pout. she looked at me and said, 'what? but i really didn't miss you...'

can't slow her down...she's growing up

if anything, it was nice that she got to spend some time with my mom, dad and her uncle jay. she sure had a great time. my mom told me she was very easy to care for, happy, pleasant and just happy. my mom is all for doing it again, for weeks even- good to know...
