the gemini flight





here it is- how g's are pulled. pre-flight instructions were to hold up five fingers if you are having a great time, three for not very and one finger for 'i'm going to throw up'. all through out our flight, i was holding up all ten fingers along with a little dance that's more like a wiggle, since you are buckled in so tight. it was so cool. blue above and green below, and vice versa depending on whether you are up side up, or up side down. i love it. mickey is an excellent flyer and a very good coach. he was very good with cues on what to do, what to expect and where to look- something about our brain hates being confused...there were a couple of times i couldn't understand what he was saying, cause the audio was breaking up, but i still said, sure! what could go wrong? well, a lot of things actually, but fortunately, it wasn't our day to die. i said it before, my absolute favorite is the slow roll and the cubins. flying over the water would have been nice, but my weird self didn't like steady and still. all in all, i had an absolute blast.

did i tell you that i had to use a booster seat? also, that i only had control of the stick cause i couldn't reach the pedals? i never felt so short in my life...
