twelve traditions- no. 8going to the
movies
as early as i can remember- we see a movie the day after christmas. the manila film festival usually have a few holiday movies made for kids, so families can watch a movie together. it was considered the cheapest form of entertainment. this year, sarah, mom wiese (my mom-in-law) and i went to see the memoirs of a geisha on christmas eve day. it worked out really well- as kailea and brent had a daddy-daughter day at the train station...and we girls- bonded and did a girl thing. for new year's eve day, we plan to take kailea to watch the chronicles of narnia. we will have a great time.
