Project 3 and 4

Build a TimeLiner Slide Show

1. Open TimeLiner 5.1

2. Select Custom - use volcano as a label

3. Use Data View to enter information

¥ number each slide starting with 1

¥ use 0 for your title slide

4. Save As - last name 3 or 4

(choose your project number)

5. Open Netscape from the Launcher

6. Go to:

http://homepage.mac.com/suecollins/school/earthquake/eventsx.html

* bookmark it when you get there

7. Read the directions and select your task # (3 or 4)

8. Begin finding your information on the web

9. Use Data View to enter events

10. Add Pictures, Notes and Sound recordings

¥ in Data View select an event

¥ click on Edit in the tool box

¥ select, Notes, Picture or Sound to add

11. Use Slide Show View to see the whole show
