COURSES IN ANALOG AND DIGITAL SOUND RECORDING TECHNIQUES

In order to become a sound recording specialist, it is imperative to :
. Develop one’s auditory sense
. Know how to operate a great number of audio equipment
. Have hands-on practical experience and not just have theoretical knowledge of the processes that lead to the completion of a project
. Cultivate professionalism with the people of the industry

It is for that reason that Gaetan Pilon, Studio Victor’s president and technical director, gives courses in analog and digital sound recording techniques IN HIS OWN STUDIOS. He offers his students invaluable field training that focuses on the acquisition of technical skills and technology, and excellent customer service.

Studio Victor not only emphasizes on his students’ know-how and the practical application of their skills, but also insists on the extensive understanding of the sound recording industry and the requirements of Quebec’s music industry. Divided into three consecutive sessions of 4 months, these courses respond to the precise needs of each individual student or group.

Keeping the maximum number of students to 4 at any one time, Studio Victor's courses are most conducive to learning. There is no pre-requisite to the courses but students must demonstrate that they are self-motivated and autodidact.
