What's a Streetfighter?

There's lots of stripped down g-machines like mine, but maybe now they have a name: Call them Streetfighters. The racy build style helps justify the lack of street rod level "show car" detailing.

FORMER LIFE:
A nice early Pro-Touring car. Been in our family since 81
DRAG, STREET, AUTOCROSS:
My attempt at Streetfighter "Tattoo". Needed an artist.
brownautodesign.com. Artist Chris Brown refined my Streetfighter concept.
2ND CHOICE:
Out of four Chris Brown designs, This one is very Olds W-30 442.
STRONG FOUNDATION:
Based on a tubular subframe & 12 point cage.
FORGED SUSPENSION:
C4 Vette A-arms/spindles are lightweight & strong.
RACK & PINION:
Fab'd knuckles adapt Fairmont power rack. I'm still working on it.
A LITTLE SURGERY:
Modified front wheelwells compensate for radical C4 caster.
READY FOR COLOR:
Stripped & ready for '70 VW gold. Definitely alternative.
NO RALLY STRIPES:
Mike Long laid down these Black, Red &Titanium laser stripes.
FUN WITH PAINT:
Each slash references off rear axle centerline.
FIRST LIGHT:
Hard part's over. Or is it? Now for assembly & more $$$.
KINESIS MO'SPORT:
Forged super strong 3-pc 18's are downright sexy!
BIG BAER BRAKES:
13" Fr 12" Rr. Tires are Nitto NT555 35 Series 285Rr / 255Fr
DRILLED & SLOTTED:
13" aluminum rotors accept 1/2" wheel studs for Autocross.
REAR SUSPENSION:
These Landrum springs suck! Switched to multi Leafs from DS&E.
FAB'd NASCAR SPOILER:
Cobra gas cap. Shocks moved to clear SCCA legal 16" wheels
VINTAGE MIRRORS:
Found in Kit Car magazine. Cobra "LeMans" racing style.
NACA BRAKE DUCTS:
Another NASCAR touch. Cools rear brakes. bsrproducts.com
ON THE GROUND:
No coil-overs yet. But I just had to have a look and climb in.
406 490HP:
Built by Frank Cerasuola. Forged bottom end. Ported World Sportsmans
SERIAL#1:
We worked with Fluidyne to test-fit their excellent Camaro Radiator.
NO SHINY BILLET:
Racing valve covers, air cleaner and Jones accessory drives.
RACY DASH:
Hidden Stereo, No AC. Red T-handle says "FIRE". Bezel says "Lighter"
g3 TATTOO:
Reveals car's multiple personality disorder. 18" wheels were worth every damn cent!
QA-1 CATALOG COVER They supplied 12 way front coil-overs and shocks for rear.
RICH CHENET:
Captured Streetfighter's true color and image. Great weather, too.
THANKS TO ALL:
For their help and patience. It's gonna be a great summer!!
