Matthew Smith says...

“Everything in the following study guide has been compiled by Matthew Smith (with the help of Michiyo Wellington-Oguri) at San Diego High School to assist students preparing for the IB Chemistry Test, both SL and HL.  All of the following information is either paraphrased by the compilers or directly taken (primarily the pictures) from other sources of information that are much more thorough then what is found below.  The sources are as follows: Notes from Mr. Eric Burtson and Mr. Allen Brakke’s lectures atSan DiegoHigh School, previous IB study guides compiled by IB students around the world and collected at the webpage http://homepage.mac.com/stray/ib/ whose author is Matthew Shepard, and Chemistry, written by Dr. Steven Zumdahl, Emeritus Professor of Chemistry at the University of Illinois, published by Houghton-Millflin.  (The pictures are drawn from the 5th edition).   

I do not recommend fellow students take this study guide and attempt to use it as their sole resource for studying for the IB Chemistry tests, however I have attempted to make it as useful as possible if such a use were to come about.  Feel free to copy and use however you would like as long as you do not attempt to sell the works or claim credit as the authors.  If you do use the guide, please make reference to the original authors (and compilers if you feel especially kind).
