Stop Mo Workshop 2006
About This Workshop
Eleven young people participated in a three-day Stop Mo Workshop which
met from 1pm to 4pm on July 19-21, 2006, in the "Undercroft Studio"
of St. James' Episcopal Church in Hammondsport, New York. During those
nine hours, each learned about the basics of Stop Motion Animation using
some old PowerMac computers, analog video cams, modeling clay and other
inexpensive materials like rocks, sticks and dirt.
The workshop focused on the words of Jesus Christ spoken in Matthew 7:24-27
where He said: "Anyone who hears my words and does them is like a
wise man who built his house on solid rock. When the storms came and the
wind blew, the house stood. But anyone who hears my words and does not
do them is like the foolish man who built a house on sand. When the storms
and wind came, the house collapsed."
