Combined Information and Technology Planning: Lesson Learned from the Road - Stuart Ciske and Donna Steffan, DPI (Rm. K)
DPI staff brought the idea of combining the library media plan (required by Standard (h)) with the technology plan (required by Erate and NCLB) into a unified plan to support student achievement . One year later, after 20 statewide workshops, DPI has clarified the focus areas for implementing a combined plan. Wisconsin Information and Technology Plan K-12 - Robert Patton, Cardinal Stritch University; Kristine Diener, School District of Waukesha; and DPI Staff (Rm. O)
The presentation will focus on the development of a combined technology and library media plan. An approved plan is required of the state and each school district by NCLB. Planning methodology and tools will be discussed and shared with the goal that the use of technology is to become seamless and institutionalized.
