I teach several adult-education courses at the California Academy of Sciences (when I have the time). These courses cover basic theoretical physics, ranging from relativity through quantum mechanics to elementary particle theory. All of these courses are intended for a general audience. These courses are not intended to be complete or self-contained. Rather they are intended to summarize their subject matter from a very high level, giving you a grounding from which you can read the many books that are available. Each course includes a recommended book list and a list of interesting links.
