haha,
remember that when you recomended that william shatner album the
other day? Little did you know how hip it makes you, check
this out...the premier hipster website, which dictates how all
hipsters should think and what they should listen to, has given
that album a 7.5 out of ten...not too shaby from a group of people
who have taken to completely bashing the likes of such pop culture
phenomenons as Cake, Ryan Adams, and the latest offering by REM,
( all of which got worse scores that capt. Kirk ). So now
the captain is officially in the elite company of such indy-riffic
trend setters as, Radiohead, Interpol, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand,
and other bands that make you seem like an intellectual when you
raddle off their names in response to the question, "what
kind of music do you like?" while at the same time making
your stomach turn when you hear their latest track on live 105
and remind your self that these tools who run commercial radio
are in no way worthy! to appreciate that artistic greatness that
is the latest mosest mouse single. On top of all this you
are prepared well to be hip, as in true hipster fassion, you have
been listening to shatner long before the indie community deemed
him "hot." As someone who allready owns many classic
shatner tracks, you can snub those wannabe hipsters who come up
to you and ask, "isn't this new william shatner CD hot? im
like totally into the new single on the raido...what? what
do you mean hes released CDs before this one?" To which
you can respond "you suck," and smugly walk away content
in the fact that you are obviously a better person having been
with shatner from the beginning...back before he sold out. so
let me be the first to congradulate you...STEVEN MASSEY...YOU ARE
HIP!!! AWSOME!!
