Macs or PCs in the classroom?

The School Department and voters of Carteret County, North Carolina have an opinion. Or two

Long story short: The schools allocated $24M for Macs in 1994. In 2000, the board decided to stop replacing their Macs and replace them with PCs as needed, and their constituents have been gathering as much comparison information as possible. The local paper, BusinessWeek, MacCentral, LowEndMac and Wired have all weighed in with their thoughtful takes. The site goes to some length to address "PC myths."

Anyway, it's a fascinating read. Check it out.
