At Microsoft's annual meeting for financial advisers, Bill Gates spoke about his company and the future. One surprise, which was covered by the New York Times, is that using the bug and crash reporting software built in to more recent versions of Windows, Microsoft has been able to determine that Windows PCs crash more than twice a day. There was no word on whether this number included older versions of Windows, such as 95, 98, and ME.
