This course web site provides important information about the Publications Workshop classes, COM* 116 and COM* 216 and advanced study in journalism, the courses in which students write and photograph for and produce Horizons, HCC's student newspaper. 

To the left, you'll find links to

course policies and objectives, grading criteria for Horizons staff, and our online textbook.   Further down are links to other useful sites, including an online directory of HCC people.

In the fall, we will again be

using a special merged Blackboard Vista site for ALL Horizons staff.  This site includes a course calendar, discussion boards, and e-mail.  It also allows us to more easily communicate with one another outside of class and provides a simple way for you to submit and exchange drafts.
