Norma's B&B, Dingwall
This was the first place we stayed in Scotland. The rooms were comfortable and it had a shared bath, but I think it could have had straw beds and we wouldn't have cared. After an overnight flight and then a full days drive up to Dingwall, I think I could have slept on a stone slab.
We don't remember the name of this B&B. All we remember is that the hostess' name is Norma. But we enjoyed our stay. I remember the breakfast was excellent. There is nothing like the fry-ups that you get in the U.K.
Ruth swears that Norma and her husband were contestants on the BBC show, Bargain Hunt. We'd like to ask them, but without even knowing the name of the establishment, it seems that the question will have to wait until the next time we are in Dingwall.....
