05.07.09 The Fat Lady Inhales is the online draft of a novel I've begun. Inspired by the excellent, but still unfinished, She Hates My Futon, I'm posting chapters as drafts are completed in the hopes that someone, somewhere, will read them and provide feedback. There's delayed gratification, and then there's writing a book. Files The Fat Lady Inhales under fiction or, if you're playing loose with the definition, science fiction. Give it a chance while you're at work sometime; it's less conspicuous than Facebook or Craigslist. At the bottom of each page, including this one, is space for comments.
