We scrambled Rampart Ridge in the Snoqualmie area. We hiked the trail to Rachel Lake and then up to Rampart Lakes. From there, we followed a bootpath around the far end of the lakes, up a gully, and then shallow scree and heather slopes (surprisingly still snow covered in places) to the ridge. We hiked along the ridge to the summit block and scrambled up (class 2 with a bit of class 3) to the summit proper. It was an overcast day, but we had nice views of the lakes below. The total distance was 11 miles and the elevation gain was 3000'.
