Blessing of the Animals There was a great turn out from school and parish for our Annual Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis. Check out our slide show to see some beautiful pets.

Cathedral of Christ the Light On Friday, October 10 St.David's teachers and staff attended the annual Staff Day for the schools of the diocese. This year it was held at our new Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. Mrs. Chainey took some beautiful picures which really bring out the magnificent way light is featured in the cathedral.
Fall Festival Saturday October 18 was our annual Fall Festival. The parade was a kick off to a great day!

Mass for the Feast of St. Francis: At St. David School the whole school attends Mass on the First Friday of each month. In October the First and Eighth Grades prepared the liturgy in honor of St. Francis. The Eighth Grade play telling about the life of Francis was a reminder to all of the greatness of this saint.

Toys for Tots: Our annual Toys for Tots drive brought in many great gifts. Our gallery  shows students loading them up for delivery to the firehouse as well as a visit to the firetruck!

Atoms in 8th: Eighth Graders made models of atoms, part of their extensive science unit on atoms.
