OverviewThis dockling allows you to change the system volume or the alert volume, independently, from your dock. Mount the DVolume disk image (just double-click it), then drag the DVolume.dock file to your hard drive (Applications/Dock Extras is a good place for it). Now, drag DVolume.dock from your hard drive to the Dock (do not drag DVolume directly from the disk image to the Dock). Now click on the dockling icon to bring up the volume control menu. If you would like to customize the number of volume 'levels', there are two 'defaults' you can set:
