| This is
really getting up in the world! Phearless Phred, our 900-N climber, has
just reached the top of this 14-km mountain after 20 hours of climbing.
His base camp (the starting point of his climb) was at the 4-km level.
While at the top, a physics question phlashes through his mind (must be lack of oxygen!). Perhaps you can supply the answer. Actually, if you want the points, you'd better! How much work (in kJoules) and power (in Watts) was involved in Phred's climb? |
