Well, this is interesting. And here I was, switching to Vivisimo. Google keeps reinventing the search engine. That initial public offering, whenever it comes, is going to make a few geeks very rich.

When I put my zip code and the word restaurants into the new beta Local Google , I got at least 11 pages of results.



Nothing I don't know about so far, but still a neat new feature. The server is really busy right now as I believe they have been slashdotted . Good luck.
