The TDS Recon is a ruggedized PDA running the Windows Mobile operating system. Waterproof. This might be the ticket for motorcycles when combined with the Storm Hawk weather GPS software.

I have asked Storm Hawk if their stand-alone software (and add-ons) will run on the TDS Recon. The Storm Hawk site specifies Pocket PC 2002 as the running platform, and TDS specifies Windows 2003 (while a reviewer stated Windows 2004 [link wonky, they've been slashdotted]). Since I know nothing about Windows Mobile, I can't prove anything right now.

And the price keeps going up and up. Ouch.
