Chords, scales, fretboard positions for stringed instruments.

Fretboard is a Palm-based reference tool for musicians who play stringed instruments. Features include (from the website):

Display the position of notes on the fretboard of virtually any stringed instrument (currently FretBoard sports 64 different tunings for instuments from 4 to 14 strings)

Display of chords in every key (with one-touch access to chord spellings)

56 chords are in the database

Display of scales and modes in every key

53 scales in the database

Allows you to hear the selected note, scale or chord

Allows you to add/delete notes to scales or chords with a simple tap

When you quit, the current view is saved as the default

Allows you to orient the picture of the neck in whichever direction you prefer

Fretboard is open-source, free software. I found it at SourceForge, a wonderful site for open-source.
