Wanting to try something new, my wife and I visited Saccone's on 183 last
Saturday night after reading the review in the Chronicle. After placing our
order we chatted a while then realized 45 minutes had passed and still no
pizza!!!
When I informed the counter, they claimed that my order had been lost and my
pizza would be ready in a few minutes (another 20). Apparently the same
thing happened to the people sitting next to us. No discounts or apologies
were offered. The pizza was good, but not that good.
Stop in only if its convenient (which automatically disqualifies any
business on north 183) or if you have time to kill. Next time we'll stick
with Frank and Angies, which has never let us down. It seems Saccone's got
their fame by advertising the poll at the counter. Don't waste your
time.
