Sand & Glitter Beach Photocards

Helen applies sand and glitter to some of the prints of images she photographs at the beach. The results are amazing: each card has a bit of the texture of the beach in the sand applied to the print, and each card also has the quality imparted by the glitter of having glints at different angles to the light. (But since there are not different angles in the light in my scanner, that quality will not be apparent on this website). Click on any of the links below and, if you look closely, you will be able to see the areas on each print where the glitter is applied. Please note, though, that the precise areas of glitter may vary.

Most people respond very positively to these cards. While some may think that adding glitter obscures the beauty of the actual photograph, all I can say is that I think Helen's use of it is inspired and tasteful, and we only use high quality glitter and sand collected on the beach. Any image that is offered with glitter is also available without -- just leave off the "SG" from the image number when you order.
