1967 Chevelle SS396 Convertible - (built 1992)

I built this Revell '67 Chevelle SS396 Convertible model car kit for a Buckeye Scale Auto Club Same Kit Night contest.

The model was built mostly from the box except I converted it into a convertible by removing the roof and using a '65 Pontiac GTO convetible boot from an AMT kit. The paint is a correct factory Chevrolet Buttercup Yellow. The redline tires were hand painted using a ruling pen and a compass. I also added photo-etched license plate frames and an antenna.
