LootGenerator: It's 2:00 am, your players have just slaughterd another innocent road gang.....You're tired and your players want to know what they can get off the gangers....
Put them off till tomorrow?
Tell the players that the gangers were nude and carrying nothing?
Kill the players?Or use LootGenerator! It will quickly generate a highly customized list of what anyone your players may come across (and kill) is carrying. You as GM can add items that are missing, specifying the rariry of the item and the components (for Junkers ) that it is comprised of. The first and currently greatest piece of software by trueseekers.com!
Six Easy Steps to Looting Mastery:
| 1: Pick which kind of items that you as Marshall are interested in. Items with checkmarks will be shown. | ![]() |
|
2: Choose what type of group is being listed. Be aware that a large number of people being looted with all of the items chosen can take a while. (I've tested up to 40 people, works fine, but slow) Wealth will determine what types of survival gear, clothing, greeblies, amount of ammo, and food a person is carrying. Threat Level determines the type(s) of weapons that the group is carrying. By separating the wealth and threat level, you can generate very rich people that are very poorly armed. |

| 4: Enjoy the list. To print or save the list, the text can be copied and then pasted into your favorite text editor. While some of the list comes from me, most of it, including the ever elusive 'Tales of the Lusty Wench', are owed to the work of David Heth. | ![]() |

5: Customize the view. I have found that viewing the list, especially when a large number of lootees are selected, can be cumbersome. To help combat that, the list can be sorted by Category by clicking on the "Loot by Category" checkbox. Then, all of the items get from all of the lootees get grouped under their category. Another useful feature if you have a Junker in the group is the ability to view the components that make up each item. |

6: Adding Loot. Unhappy with the current loot list? See some things that no right minded post apocolyptic person would be without? Just click on the "Add Loot" Button. a: Select the category for the item you are entering. At the bottom of this screen is a list containing all of the items in the selected category. b: Enter a Description of the item. c: Enter the 'vital stats' for the item including the Rarity, Value, Weight, and the components that a Junker could get out of this item. d: If the item is a weapon, either enter the threat level, or select the checkbox to enter the weapon stats and have LootGenerator generate the threat level for you. (Threat Level math owed with much gratitude to David Heth.) |
