Mount Murece above the town of Gurué, Mozambique LONG TERM PRAYER REQUESTS We hope to help develop leaders in the Mozambican church -- through PROFORTE's ministry to small Bible schools and by translating the Bible into Lomwe (LOM-way) a language of more than one million people. We long that God will be honored in our lives and in churches in northern Mozambique. Please pray with us: Pray for mature Lomwe (LOM-way) Christians and churches as the Bible is more and more available in the Lomwe language. Pray for God’s Spirit to fill us. Pray for those who are second- and third-generation believers without personal experience of conversion. Pray for believers and churches that are alive in Jesus and know His forgiveness and power. Pray that our children grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Cara finished college in June 07 and we returned to Mozambique without her. She is working in the Boston area and paying off her college loans. We miss her ! Luke is in 9th grade, studying at home (doing distance learning courses from a high school in America). Pray for our mission, SIM, in Mozambique as we seek to disciple Lomwe, Yao and Makua people in the north of Mozambique. |
