Zelgadiss Graywords is the grandson and/or great-grandson of Rezo the Red Priest. As a youth, he made a wish for more power. As in any wish, he got what he asked for and was turned into a chimera. Zel is a strong, intelligent, sensitive, artistic fighter/mage who knows how to be a follower as well as a leader.
