Under Pressure was born- Kevin McCann(guitar/bass/vocals), Doug Newcomb(guitar/bass/vocals), Pam Garland(vocals), Dion Schofield(guitar/bass/vocals/drums), Tim Lecouter(drums). Tim leaves after several jam sessions. Eddie MacDonald fills in on drums and vocals. First gig (without a drummer) was at the park by the beach in Hantsport, sponsored by HMCC. Next was Pinky's with Gordie Roach on drums. Dion leaves Under Pressure shortly after Pinky's. Brian "Rocky" Rockwell(guitar/bass/vocals) joins the band just in time for Halloween.

Under Pressure prepared for the First Annual Birthday Bash (celebrating the Birthdays of vocalist Pam Garland and band friend, Joe Caldwell)at the Lockhartville Hall. Under Pressure is joined by Blues band Classic 30 featuring Doug Newcomb and Joe Caldwell. Scott Ruhs does the sound for the gig. The band band plays Pinky's again. This time with Jerry Legge filling in on drums. In the Fall both Kevin and Rocky leave the band due to other commitments. Jason Adams(guitar/bass/vocals) fills in on guitar and becomes a member of the band. Soon afterwards the band asks Scott Ruhs(guitar/bass/vocals) to join the band. The band very quickly prepared for the first gig for this configuration of the band - a 40th Birthday party for Pam's brother-in-law, Jim Salter. Eddie leaves due to commitments to his own band, Eddie's Basement.

Under Pressure finds a new drummer. Jeff White joins the band. Under Pressure played at the Second Annual Birthday Bash, a benefit for the Hantsport School French Club at the Hantsport Fire Hall, the Apple Blossom Festival, Pinky's, and a Pig Roast at Brison Development. Over the Summer John Barker fills in for various members when their work schedules don't mesh with rehearsals. Jeff White left the band due to other commitments, and John steps in as the new drummer.

Under Pressure played at the Third Annual Birthday Bash, ER's in Windsor, NS, Jam with Sam during Sam Slick Days in Windsor, NS. John played his last gig with the band at Pinky's - Gordie Roach plays the last half of the Pinky's gig. Under Pressure was again without a drummer. The band tries out a number of drummers. Ryan Saunders(drums/vocals)joins Under Pressure and inject new life and focus into the band. Ryan gets many gigs for the Under Pressure across Nova Scotia - Windsor, Kentville, Noel, Bridgewater, Walton, and Westville just to name a few. The band had played a number of benefit shows, and played Pinky's every year. Under Pressure's line-up remained the same until late 2006.

In December Under Pressure parted ways with Ryan, and offered the drummer's seat to veteran drummer, Greg Tufts. Under Pressure has been adding new songs to the list and have been polishing up some the older material. Only time will tell where the future will take the band, but it will surely be an adventure.
